After serving 12 honorable years in the U.S. Navy as an Air Traffic Controller, my wife and I decided on a career change and to make Pensacola, FL our home. I began working for a large, local and highly-respected public accounting firm, and I gained invaluable experience while there. I received my Master's degree in Accounting from The University of West Florida and became a licensed Florida CPA during my time there.

A friend I had met through continuing education classes approached me and asked if I was interested in taking over his tax and accounting practice, as he was planning to retire soon. I was ready to take the next step and embraced the opportunity to be able to work more closely with my clients on a regular basis.

I am active in my church, Woodbine Church, as well as my state's professional society, the Florida Institute of CPAs.
